As part of the 20PM Community Christmas Extravaganza, we’re holding the first annual 20PM Community Christmas Cookie Contest! For more information on the idea behind the contest, check out this post from last week about the cookie contest.

The contest is free and open to anyone and everyone who wants to enter! In order to enter, simply bring two dozen cookies to the 20PM Community Christmas Party on Sunday, December 14th. We do ask that, if possible, you preregister your entry by the end of the day on Friday, December 12th so that we can make sure to have enough space for all the entries. To preregister, simply fill out the form below giving your name, and we’ll make sure to save space for you!

We do have a few guidelines for the contest, below:

1 ) Please bring 2 dozen cookies. The contest will be judged by the individuals attending the party, so we want to make sure there are enough that everyone who is interested can try one.

2 ) Cookies only – if you would like to bring another favorite dish, feel free, however, to keep things simple we are limiting the contest this year to cookies only. If the contest is a big hit, we may expand it next year to other categories.

3 ) Entrants do not have to be 20PM members or even Forney residents – you just have to be able to get your cookies to the Hands to the Heavens/20PM Community Christmas Party on Sunday, December 14th at 2PM.

4 ) Please label all allergens – the FDA considers the following ingredients allergens: milk, tree nuts, peanuts, soy, wheat, egg, crustacean shellfish or fish.

5 ) Entering the contest is free, and the cookies, like all of the other food at the event, will be free – the community is bringing food to share with one another, the food will not be sold.
