The Regional Transportation Council (RTC) of the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) is inviting the public to a meeting at the Mesquite Arts Center this coming Thursday, August 6th at 10:30AM. The RTC holds public meetings on a regular basis throughout the region, and one of the three meetings this month happen to be relatively close to Forney. The RTC/NCTCOG control a significant portion of the road/transportation funding in the region and has a major role in setting the strategic plan for new and improved roads and other transportation in North Texas.
