North Forney High School Band Wins USSBA State Championship

CONROE, TEXAS – The North Forney High School Marching Band competed in the United States Scholastic Band Association (USSBA) State Finals Competition on Saturday, Oct. 31 in Conroe, Texas and finished in first place in the group 3A classification. With the win, the North Forney High School Band is now the USSBA Class 3A State Champion.
In addition to the top finish, the band also won three of five caption awards including Best Percussion, Best Music and Best Effect.
The North Forney High School Band is in its first year as a program since the school opened its doors to students for the first time in August of this year.
