CVS, Lucky’s Sports Grill, Wing Stop & More

Filed under: Commercial Real Estate, Forney News — Josh at 11:36 pm on Tuesday, April 10, 2007

CVS is coming to Forney - at Highway 80 & 548, on the south side of the highway (opposite from Shafer Plaza, WalMart, etc. - between Highway 80 & the train tracks) there’s a lot of dirt being moved for the construction of a new City Bank branch; the CVS will be in that same area. This is in addition to the Walgreens that’s under construction near the Chase bank that’s also under construction not too far from Sonic & WalMart.

Another sports bar is opening in Forney, it looks like. In Mustang Crossing, in the spaces that are being finished down near the Lowe’s, behind the Autozone, a TABC notice has been posted in one of the windows concerning the application for a liquor license by a “Lucky’s Sports Grill”. In addition to Lucky’s, Overtime Sports Cafe has an ad out saying that they’ll be opening in April. Overtime is located in the Forney Center, at Highway 80 & Pinson Road, not too far from the McDonald’s.

Wing Stop has a coming soon sign up in the same area of Mustang Crossing as Lucky’s - they’re in the space closest to Lowe’s, actually. They seem to be moving pretty quickly, and have a now hiring sign out.
