Copper theft thwarted by KCSO
Shortly after midnight this morning, two suspects caused approximately $10,000 in damage while attempting to steal copper from a power substation on FM 741 between Forney and Crandall. While both suspects fled on foot following the arrival of Kaufman County deputies, both were captured and are currently awaiting bail in the Kaufman County Jail.
