The Forney Police Department has released the following information regarding a possible assault on a 3-year-old child last week:
“FORNEY POLICE DEPARTMENT RESPONDED TO THE WELFARE CONCERN OF A 3 YEAR OLD BOY ON FRIDAY, JUNE 26TH, 2009. THE OFFICERS MET WITH COMPLAINANTS ON SCENE AND AFTER SEEING THE CHILD, CONTACTED EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES. THE CHILD [...]

Meijer has initiated a voluntary recall of one type of its Meijer Brand Instant Non-fat Dry Milk because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.
