I’ve had a number of regulars on the Forney discussion forum ask me how they can help defray the cost of running TwentyPeacefulMinutes.com and otherwise donate to the site. The new version of the forum software we’re now using allows for some exciting things related to this, so I’m beginning to setup a few different ways for users to support the site.

For starters, at the bottom of pretty much every page on the Forney discussion forum you’ll find a banner advertisement from Amazon.com and a text link to Amazon.com - if you click on the banner or on the text link and then purchase anything from Amazon.com, Twenty Peaceful Minutes will receive a small commission. There’s also a link encouraging you to download Firefox below that ad on many of the pages. If you’ve never downloaded or installed Firefox, the leading new web browser, and you click on that link and download and install Firefox, Twenty Peaceful Minutes will receive a small commission for referring you. Firefox is a great web browser - it’s what I use, so oftentimes, features I develop for 20PM will look best in Firefox, since that’s what I use while working on the site.

I’m also setting up a donation link via PayPal, but in the meantime, I have setup a page with the Amazon Honor System that allows visitors to a website to make a small ($1 - $50, you choose the amount) donation to that site. To make a donation via the Amazon Honor System, click the graphic below:

You can make a donation via credit card, PayPal balance or e-check, and I believe you can make a donation even if you don’t have a PayPal account.
