No word if this is final, and I’m sure there’s still some mail-in, provisional, etc. ballots to be counted, but the current counts from the county are:
FISD Proposition 1 - Second High School
For: 1,520 (60.10%)
Against: 1,009 (39.90%)
Mayor
Grooms: 762 (60.00%)
Weatherford: 508 (40.00%)

With almost 2,100 votes counted (no word yet if this is final, but over 4,000 votes were cast in the election last November, although I’m sure turnout for this election was smaller, as May elections tend to be), the numbers are:

Well, the polls have been closed for about 2 hours and the county has started tallying the votes. I’ll post updates throughout the evening as I can, but right now, with almost 1,490 votes counted, the numbers are:

For: 886 (60.81%)
Against: 571 (39.19%)
Mayor
Grooms: 488 (67.50%)
